It was a Friday afternoon when my friends and I were at school. We were playing at the basketball courts. Since I lived right behind the school, I would see my dad every day. That day I had seen my dad go throw trash away. My friends and I waved at him and he waved back. I saw him go inside the house and I continued to play with my friends. Lucy, Agelica, Uriel, and Cesar. Lucy pointed and my dad and said, “ Look your dad is coming with ice-cream!” with urgency and excitement, I looked back and saw my reflection on a car that was parked by my house. I was wearing a pink sweater, light jeans, and black vans. With the smell of freshly cut grass floating into my nose. My dad got close to the fence, he stretched out his arms holding the ice-cream for my friends and I. We then all ran to the fence and grabbed the ice-cream. We were all excited because the day was so hot and we needed something cold to cool us off. So we thanked my dad as he was leaving. Finally, the bell rang to go back to class and we ran before the yard duty’s saw us close to the fence. We were ecstatic that we had ice-cream for lunch and the other kids didn’t.

Big Changes in China

Reflecion

Before knowing about china's big change, I didn't know anything about china. Now after learning about what china has been through I am beyond shocked, I never knew china went through all that to get what they have now. They used to be a poor town with hardly any food. Most Chinese people were farmers and grew their own food. now I ask my self, would I consider visiting china? probably not. I wouldn't understand signs or peoples language. also I would probably get lost.

 

 

 

The prezi is an excellent website to do a presentation, its very creative. Yes I would consider to use it in the future. It works better than a power point, I think prezi grabs more attention. working with the power point was not that great because it's dull. I mean you can play around with it but its not as exciting as prezi. Working with easybib was great it's a really easy thing to do, because all you do is write the information then copy and paste. Something that I would of done different with my presentation would be that I could of used prezi and added pictures color and interest to it so it wouldn't be as dull. Another thing that I would of done is search up more about china and not use the same words as my classmates. I could of searched for more interesting information and said that instead of saying the same thing as these classmates. I bet Mrs. Twenge was bored to hear the same thing over and over again. She could of atleast expected something interesting and more out of someone and I could of done that. 

The Burn Down .

Maria is a light skinned Mexican, curly light brown hair with brown eyes long eye lashes and small freckles on her face. She is serious and such a responsible person. She lived in an apartment when she was pregnant, but had 2 kids already.

Her son was under the bed playing with a lighter, Maria was in the kitchen cleaning and doing laundry. she smelled something strange but thought it was her candle burning. While her son was under the bed burning sheets with the door closed.

Her son Oscar had caught the whole sheets on fire. He didn't know what to do he was so scared he started hitting the sheets and he threw water but didn't work. Maria smelled something burning and saw smoke coming out of the room door. That being said the alarm went off and she ran to the room where Oscar was in a corner crying for help because the whole room was on fire.

Her husband Jose went into the room to get Oscar out, while he went in there Maria called the firefighters and ambulance. Everyone in the building came out and was worried of what was going on in maria's house. The ambulance got there and they took care of the fire.

When everything was calm and the fire was gone Maria took a look into the room and everything was burned. All her important papers were ashes now her bed was burnt down and all the curtains. Maria and her family had no other choice then to move out and find another place. She found a new home and had to start all over again with her house furniture and renew the important papers that had burnt down.

Now maria has a nice house with nice furniture and everything is back to normal. She knows that nothing like that will ever happen because her son Oscar is now grown up and her kids are grown up as well so she can be in peace and not think of any problem like that.

The world of good

Once long ago there was a city of good, rich people. There was only one god, unlike other cities who had many gods. He was the coolest god. Everyone was happy with him, people liked him because he didn't set any strict rules. The one rule he did put up was to be mature and respect one another.

Then there comes invaders trying to take over trying to destroy things. They took peoples money, cars, houses, etc. Everyone was scared, even the god. He didn't know what to do. They were destroying everything! People were screaming and running around disturbing the peace. There was a monster that protected everybody in the city. He heard people scream from miles away. He came down to the city as fast as possible, rushing over things and even knocked down a sign. As soon as the monster got there he went straight looking for the invaders to fight them and get rid of them.

Finally, he managed to kill all the invaders and get rid of each and every invader. The people were still frightened to come out of their houses but the monster assured them that everything was clear, that they were safe. People were then cheering for the monster because he has saved people's life and their city. The monster felt great about it and he then left back to where he stayed and still looked after the city. Everything went back to normal people continued with their wealthy life's and thanked the monster for everything. And that's the world we live in now.
